Features

Building blocks, not slides.

Put your screen together from blocks, save it as a template and bring it back tomorrow with one click.

Who's missing?

Children check in on the class tablet in the morning. You see straight away who is still missing – on the projector too.

Timer & countdown

As a ring, an hourglass or a bar, with a gong at the end.

Traffic light & noise

The traffic light can follow the noise level in the room.

Whose turn?

Picks a child from the class list – fairly.

Groups

Splits the class into groups with one click.

Clock

Analogue, digital or both – with the date.

Reflection

"How did it go?" – every child answers on their own on the tablet.

Lesson plan

Phases with timings, work mode and traffic light. The class always sees what is happening now and what comes next.

QR code

Any link, big on the projector, ready to scan.

Timetable & day plan

The whole day at a glance, with times.

Class jobs

Board duty, handing out, tidying up – they rotate by themselves.

Drawing & camera

Draw freehand on the board, show the document camera live.

Dice

Big enough for the back row to count along.

Scoreboard

For teams, quiz rounds and competitions.

Games · New

Word duel: hangman without the gallows.

Two teams take turns guessing letters. Every wrong guess takes a block off the team's tower – you mark it with a tap. Only you see the answer, never the projector.

Team Pink
Scoreboard

Points with a single tap.

As many teams as you need, each with its own name. You decide how many points a tap is worth, from 1 to 100.

Quiz round

Whose turn, clock's ticking, point.

Three blocks side by side and the quiz round is ready: "Whose turn?" picks a child, the timer gives 30 seconds, the scoreboard keeps count.

In detail

More than a projector screen.

Four areas that go well beyond the screen at the front of the class.

Individual support

A learning pack for every child.

Put the pieces together: a reading text, a podcast, a video, a worksheet, a link or a quiz with results. Each child opens their pack via their own link, or on the shared tablet with a picture PIN made of three animals.

  • See who has started and where they are stuck
  • "How did it go?" at the end goes into the learning journal
  • Also works for the whole class as a learning landscape
Task board

Your task board, built in.

Every class gets its own board with lists, labels, due dates, checklists and images. Parent letters, staff meeting minutes or the Friday info email – your AI turns them into cards whenever you like.

  • A checklist with every child, e.g. for the class trip
  • Overdue cards at a glance
  • Any list can be shown as a block on the projector
Wish box

A letterbox children trust.

Via a link or QR code, children write down wishes and worries, or record a voice message. Only the day is stored – no name, no device, no time.

  • New messages arrive in batches after 1–2 hours, so the timing gives nothing away
  • A name only if a child adds one themselves under "I'd like to talk"
  • If you want, your AI sums up the messages for you
Polls

The class votes on their phones.

Every poll gets a QR code and a short link. Children vote anonymously, one vote per device, and the bars on the projector grow live.

  • Reveal the result whenever you want
  • New round with one click
  • Or ask your AI: "A poll for the school trip with three destinations"
Chur Model

Teaching with the Chur Model.

A short input in the circle, then the learning landscape: children choose their place and their task, and you are free for those who need you. Classdesk shows everyone what is going on.

Learning landscape

Sign up for inputs, get help without raising a hand.

The learning landscape block lists your inputs with time, topic, level and free places. Children sign themselves up on the class tablet. Anyone who is stuck joins the help queue instead of waiting with their hand in the air.

  • Three levels: basic, intermediate and advanced
  • Learning packs provide the right tasks for every child
  • Lesson plan, timer and work mode symbols for each phase
  • The reflection at the end goes into the learning journal
For you

Your admin, right next to it.

Classdesk is not just the screen for your class, it is also your desk: everything you plan for the class lives in the same place.

Classes & children

First names are enough. They power the groups, "Whose turn?" and the check-in on the tablet.

Timetable

Import it as a CSV, or just take a photo and let the AI type it up.

Templates & stacks

Prepare a whole lesson and click through it screen by screen in class.

Parent page

News, parent letters, dates as a calendar subscription and what the class is learning right now. Parents open a link, no account needed.

Images & files

Upload images, PDFs and audio once and reuse them in every screen and learning pack.

History

Deleted something by mistake? Screens, classes and templates can be restored.

How it works

One screen. Three places.

Classdesk keeps the projector, the tablet and your controls in sync, live – wherever you happen to make a change.

On the projector · 7:55 am

Type the code, the screen is up.

On the school computer, open /b and enter the code shown on your screen. No login, no password on a shared computer. From now on the projector shows your changes live.

With your AI · Support

Where a child is stuck becomes a learning pack.

The AI reads a child's learning journal and quiz results, spots where they are struggling and creates a matching learning pack: explanation, video, quiz. You check it and share the link. It only sees the children's data if you allow it.

Have a look at Mia's learning journal and her quiz results from the last two weeks. Build her a learning pack for whatever she finds hard.

Mia wrote "Hard today: simplifying fractions" twice, and she got 2 out of 5 in the quiz. I've created the learning pack "Simplifying fractions":

With your AI · Lesson planning

One sentence, and the lesson is ready.

The AI sets up the screen: a lesson plan with phases and timings, groups, a timer and a work mode symbol. Tomorrow it is on the projector with one click.

Tomorrow, 3rd period, maths with 6a: 5-minute warm-up, 20 minutes of group work in four groups, then a wrap-up.

The staff email becomes cards.

Paste in the email from the head: the AI turns it into cards on the task board, with due dates and checklists. Nothing gets lost in your inbox.

Here's the email about the school trip. Turn it into tasks for me.

With your AI · Wish box

Hear what the class is wishing for.

The AI sums up what has landed in the wish box and flags what you should look at yourself – including worries a child would never say out loud.

What did 4b wish for this week?

7 wishes: three for more breaks outside, two for group work. Please read this one yourself: a child writes that they are being picked on at break time.

For every age

Grows up with your class.

Playful and colourful up to Year 4, calm and clear from Year 5. Classdesk picks the right look automatically – and you can switch it at any time.

Playful

Rounded type, colour gradients, cheerful backgrounds.

Calm

Privacy

Built for schools, not for advertising.

What we promise children holds up technically, too – it is a rule in the code, not a line in the small print.

No accounts for children

Children reach the projector screen, the tablet and their learning packs via links. No email, no password, no profile.

No tracking, no CDNs

Fonts, scripts and icons are served from our own server. Public pages set no cookies.

Anonymous means anonymous

The wish box stores no names unless a child writes one in – and entries only show up in batches after one to two hours.

Deleted on schedule

Old data disappears by itself after fixed periods. You can export all of your data at any time.

From Augsburg

Something missing? We'll build it.

Classdesk is developed in Augsburg, close to everyday school life. New blocks grow out of what teachers write to us – from a game for free work time to a feature made just for your school.

  1. Send a request

Via "Feedback" in your account: what is missing, what is not working, what could be better.

  2. We get back to you

We ask if we need to know more, and tell you whether and when it is coming.

  3. New in Classdesk

Finished features are available to everyone – nothing to install, nothing to update.

FAQ

In a nutshell.

Do the children need an account?

No. The projector screen, the class tablet and the learning packs all open via secret links, which you can renew at any time.

Does Classdesk work with the Chur Model?

Yes. The learning landscape block shows your small-group inputs with time, level and free places. Children sign themselves up and join the help queue when they are stuck. Learning packs provide tasks at different levels, and the learning journal takes care of reflection.

Will it run on our interactive whiteboard?

Classdesk only needs an up-to-date browser – on the projector PC, the interactive whiteboard, a tablet or a phone. There is nothing to install.

Which AI can I connect?

Any AI assistant that supports the open MCP standard, such as Claude. You connect your own AI account with an access link. The AI can then build screens, start timers, split the class into groups or turn an info email into tasks. Without AI everything works just the same, with a few clicks.

Is Classdesk available in English?

This page is. The app itself – your dashboard, the projector screens and the pages for children and parents – is in German for now. If you would like to use Classdesk in English, let us know.

I am missing a feature. Can you build it?

Happily. Classdesk is developed in Augsburg, and new blocks come from teachers' requests. Tell us what you are missing in class via "Feedback" in your account. Features built specifically for your school are possible too.

Can I embed Classdesk in our learning platform?

Yes. The children's pages, the learning packs and the wish box can be embedded. In the settings you decide which websites are allowed to do so.

Who can change things on the projector screen?

For each block you decide what children may do. Everything else stays locked until you briefly unlock it with your teacher PIN.

How do I get an account?

Sign up with your name, email address and a password, then confirm the link we send you. You can build your first screen straight away.

Ready for your first lesson?

Create an account, add your class, put together your first screen. It only takes a few minutes.
